Looking for a new place to try, my wife and I decided to stop here on a whim – a decision we couldn't be happier about! The moment you step inside, you get a sense of a long-standing tradition of serving fresh, expertly prepared fish and chips. This isn't a trendy, upscale spot serving generic frozen options. Instead, you'll find quick and genuinely friendly service alongside some of the most delicious fish and chips I've encountered since moving away from the Maritimes. If you're craving authentic, quality fish and chips, look no further. Highly recommended.

Step 1. Enjoy a nice walk along the Bronte marina. Step 2. Make your way to Bronte Fish n Chips. Lovely down to earth service, good prices and great fish n chips. Their shrimp plate is just amazing too. This is what you call a classic neighbourhood family run place which has been around for decades.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The service feels like going out to eat in the 90s when people actually cared. We ate in and immediately they brought my daughter a coloring page for their colouring contest with a little plastic cup full of crayons. Back when society actually cared about children...our world just isn't tailored for them anymore. The service was so great, friendly, warm and lovely. It was also fast. I had the cod and my daughter had the haddock kids special I think? It was delicious! Good portions. If I had to be picky I'd say I wish they had different tarter sauce but I just love the one from PC so much, I'll probably bring my own next time. Anyway, we came a bit late so we asked for dessert to go. She separated my daughter's ice cream and then also told me exactly how long to microwave the brownie for (my daughter said it was the best dish she had ever had) Definitely the best fish and chips (and customer service) in Oakville

Decided to try Bronte Fish and Chips a few days ago, got a bunch of stuff for the family. Never been here before but I saw a line up for this place one Friday when I was driving by and it’s been on my to do list. We ordered a bunch of different things: halibut, chips, onion rings, gravy, shrimp. All of it was delicious. The halibut was fresh, flaky, extremely soft - as it’s supposed to be, with a nice portion. Chips were good, not the best I’ve ever had but certainly not the worst. Could be a little bit crispier. Onion rings were unreal though, they were made fresh, extremely good. One of the best I’ve had. The shrimp were great too, can’t go wrong with them and they were de-tailed so you don’t need to worry about it. Will definitely be going back to try more. From what I could see is everything was made to order and it was absolutely delicious. I didn’t see them on ubereats but they do take credit cards etc. Customer service was great, they were very friendly. We stepped out for a few mins to get some grocery and came back just when the food was ready. All in all great experience.

I went to Bronte Fish and Chips for lunch today with my son-in-law's grandma. Probably the best fish and chips I have had. The owner helped my friend in and out of the restaurant (she has a walker) - what service! Can't wait to go back again. Thank you for such a great dining experience!

I'm always looking for great Fish and Chip Shops and Bronte Fish and Chips did not disappoint. I ordered a Haddock and Chips, with a side of Coleslaw and gravy. The Fish and fries were cooked traditionally, the Coleslaw and Gravy were very flavorful, the portions were decent, and the service was excellent!

A classic fish and chip spot that’s been around for over 50 years in Bronte. It’s family run and the food is delicious! Recommend the cod (Thursday special) and the cole slaw. Dinner for four including drinks was 100. Award winning, charming, and family friendly. We gave been coming here for over 15 years. Always satisfying.
